"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

Have you be saved by His grace, congratulations for the salvation of your soul. New experience has started as you have accepted the forgiveness, love and grace of God though His son Jesus Christ. You accepting Christ simply means your life, your future and your eternity are in His hands and He will govern your life.

To help you understand and start your journey, we have some programs to assist in growing in the knowledge of Him.

Digging Deep/Weekly Bible Study

This is a teaching of the undiluted word of God. It usually takes place every Thursday from 6.30pm - 7.30pm. It is an opportunity to study the word of God and discuss in depth in a manner not usually permissible on the general Sunday worship hours. It is also a time to ask questions about the teaching. We encourage you to bring your friends and family members along so as to grow together in the Lord.

Believers' Class

This class is for those who have just accepted Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Saviour. This class seeks to explain to new believers the new birth, and lay a solid foundation for their Christian growth. A foundation that will be able to withstand the "wind of life" whenever it comes. This class is also recommended for anyone who has never gone through lessons before. The teachings usually run every Sunday morning.

Baptismal Class

We believe in baptism by total immersion in water as stipulated in Acts 2:41. This class follows the new believers' class and its aim is to prepare students for water baptism. Baptism by immersion symbolically means passing through Christ's death, burial and resurrection and entering into a new measure of life in God. Through the class, the importance of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is also understood. The Holy Spirit gives the power to live and share the abundant life, which Jesus Christ promised to all everyone that trust and obey Him. We need the Holy Spirit so we can obey God's law, because according to Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law". On completion of the teachings, a date and venue is usually set aside for water baptism proper.

Workers In Training

This training is for those who want to become workers in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It prepares them for service in any area of the ministry. The lessons and training will take the students through the basic doctrines as well as the pillars of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It will also give you an insight into the Church hierarchy as well as your rights and obligations as a member.

Serve

This is where we get involved in Kingdom business in the church. This involves giving of our time, talents and treasure to see the establishment of God's kingdom on Earth. We have some departments you can identify with but before making that decision, start by asking yourself the following question:

  • What is your passion?
  • What issue or people group really catches your interest?
  • What problem or issue would you like to solve?
  • Consider your personality, skills, abilities, and life experiences, how could these help you make a meaningful contribution in the lives of others?

After efficiently answering all these questions, then you can join the workforce of the church by identifying with any department of your choice. Departments in the church include Music, Drama, Audio/Visual (technical), Sunday School Teachers Team, Welfare Team, Sanctuary Keepers, Follow-up Team, Ushering/Protocol and Evangelism Team. If you are interested in joining any of these departments, you discuss with the pastorate.
